What an awesome question and one that really makes me reflect. There are a few key moments that I can refer to that I think were very influential in getting me to where I am today. The first was to study abroad while an undergraduate. I spent a full year in the UK, and it is where I am today. The next would be continuing in University past my first degree in history to obtain further degrees in Statistics. While in my first job, as a business analyst at Vodafone I made the decision to move to Mars at the Waltham Pet Science Institute as I saw the more academic and research based atmosphere very appealing. Once in Mars, I found a 'home' where I am constantly able to let my curiosity run wild! Having the ability to work across a multitude of roles, function areas and business segments is one of the most important elements for myself that keeps me engaged and always learning.
