What motivates you about your role?

I work in the biomarkers of health team and we conduct studies looking at how we can improve health, and prevent or predict disease in cats and dogs. Knowing that my work could have a positive and meaningful impact on the health and wellbeing on pets, and pet parents worldwide is exciting, and drives me to do the best I can. Secondly, my role allows me to work on a variety of projects and I am constantly learning something, which I really value. This maybe acquiring new scientific or technical knowledge, or how best to work with a team I haven’t previously worked with. These opportunities ultimately will make me a better scientist and better project leader, and both together help me play my part in delivering on Mars Petcare's purpose: A better world for pets!
