Chris H.
Senior Data Scientist
There are a few qualities beyond the technical expertise that come to mind. The first areas would be curiosity, desire for constantly learning and the ability to deal with ambiguity. Many of the business problems I work on have multiple layers of complexity that have to be considered or are extremely open ended challenges. Often these problems exist in fluid states with the problem evolving while the solutions or analysis are being developed which require the ability to adapt quickly. And the last quality would be communication. This is extremely important as the ability to clearly communicate at the point of problem understanding onto deliverable alignment to the conclusion of the project are vital to ensure stakeholders stay aligned and expectations are adhered to.
