I have learnt a whole load of new skills from working with so many departments, from learning how to flex your style to get the best out of people to getting the opportunity to learn about different function demands & business expectations! As my job gives such a brilliant overview of the business, it is a great general role for someone who isn’t sure the exact direction they want to to in, it opens up opportunities to explore any function in whatever depth you what! It has helped me form my career path, which has been invaluable.

I think there are many roles within Mars where you can work closely with other departments. In this role and my previous roles this has been the case as well. I especially enjoy the perspective that it brings, to understand the business from different angles. Of course having these different angles and opinions can also be challenging but overall it often leads to a better result and it is also a great way to learn to know more people.
