I really enjoyed the transition. By the time I finished university, I was looking forward to the freedom of being able to learning things in my own rather than being told what to learn. Whilst my degree in law isn't directly applicable to working in procurement, I very quickly realised that the skills I had learnt studying law helped me in my role, such as analytical skills and contracting.
