Before joining I would have loved to know more about what the culture is actually like. I read about the 5 principles online and the development opportunities available on the graduate scheme but had no idea how much these would actually impact my day to day role. Mars not only tailors a development plan to suit you but also ensures that everything you work on is guided by the 5 principles and able to push you in these development areas.
So as a tip before starting a role at Mars; take a look at previous experiences both in and out of work and identify where you felt most uncomfortable and most confident. Identify the reasons behind these and you'll have a good grounding for your development journey upon starting.
