When you work in Supply Chain, you get a very well rounded view of how the business works. You are really central to so many different moving parts. I can't comment on what that scheme would entail but having worked in various different bits of Supply Chain in my last few roles, I am sure that you would find it eye opening and very worthwhile!
I have developed an understanding of how factories run, how to make production lines more efficient, how new products are sold to customers...The list goes on.
There are very few areas of the business that you won't interact with and that is one of the best bits about it for me. The variation of not doing the same thing every day and having new challenges spring up from nowhere is great! Good luck with your application.
