'Fail fast, learn fast!' I view this as a mindset to hold as we constantly face challenges that do not turn out the way we expect and there is always something to learn from them. Failure and Unsuccessful are a bit negative because the learning piece that comes along with that aspect is still highly valuable, especially in the data science space. One of the recent projects I was working on that required a number of iterative attempts before success was realized was in relation to setting up sensors on a machine for data capture, transfer and then modelling. While the idea to pull data off a machine sounds simple, it turned out to be anything but that! Having now invested the effort and time to develop this is paying off not only for that specific project but for multiple others where similar approaches are now being leveraged.
